From Flag Coach, Coach Ascanio:
.Two tournaments down and one left to go. The Cheetahs U17 Flag team have played their first two tournaments which have been a massive learning experience for both the players and the coach. With most players seeing their first ever action in the sport. Although wins have been hard to come by, tournament by tournament I can see a massive improvement within the players. The team is starting to gel and the chemistry is only going to get better. We have a great mix of players from age 9-14 who all work hard and give their all week in and week out. The players are doing the Cheetah family proud and they should pat themselves on the back for their efforts. As we near the end of the season preparation for the off-season is beginning. A series of ‘rookie’/taster sessions will be coming up so if anyone out there has a passion for American Football or just want to try a new sport, details of these sessions will be posted at seasons end. Do not hesitate to get in touch with the club via firstname.lastname@example.org Training runs from 1:30-3:30 pm every Sunday at St. Albans Rugby Club. So if you can’t wait for the taster sessions come on down any Sunday. You’ll find a great bunch of players and a passionate coach.
