Cheetahs hoping to repeat start of 2017 season

A year on, but if you looked at the Cheetah’s opening day schedule you’d be forgiven for thinking its still 2017. Just as with last season, the #CheetahPride will be travelling to Hastings to kick off the campaign.

They hope that the similarities won’t end there. That game ended with a 63-0 win for the black and yellow – including the below touchdown from RB Conor Wilson – setting the tone for a superb seven game win streak. However, Hertfordshire are well aware that things change quickly in Britball and that there will always be a battle in Hastings.

Head Coach Craig Barnes is raring to go, admitting that he has been anxious for the Cheetahs’ season to begin. “We have had a very productive preseason. It’s been frustrating to watch other teams get their campaigns underway. I expect sixty minutes of unrelenting Cheetah football this Sunday.”
